white beat cook, massappeal, mtm, asif wilson, midas wells, and pickel are all a part of a crew that assembeled from the roots of spinning at the black beetle and bar vertigo in chicago. the roots are like this... pickel and white beat cook were spinning house parties while attending siuc. they soon linked up and began to spin with fellow djs, loon, and chaunklit language. they all shared a radio show at siuc as well. then pickel linked up with midas wells, he makes beats and was a stellar neighbor. soon mtm was introduced to midas at siuc, pickel met mtm while spinning at an mc battle. mtm, massappeal, and asif wilson all went to high school together...the rest is all chi... later we invited fellow siuc alumnus dj phys edison to join the group. then we asked the fabulous dj j. lee to join us in our quest to live an analog lifestyle. we are a group of djs/producers that remain true to the core sound of what we grew up on. keeping it true, real, and right. thats what we do...
