Anything scary but not the typical "scary" movies. More thriller or suspence. Things that make you think too much... not so much the blood and guts. Love the 3 Final Destination movies, Butterfly effect and Gothica type movies.
Romantic comedys are always good... Love Actually, You me and Dupree, How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days, 50 first Dates...
Any comedy really... Anchorman, Meet the Parents (& Fockers), Old School, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Napolean Dynamite.
Black comedys like Very Bad Things, Dogma.
All kids movies like Shrek, Finding Nemo... all those classics!!
OH... and Fear and Loathing!! Great viewing

Forensic Investigators, etc. Have watched Neighbours since day dot. The Amazing Race and Idol. Ha, Iron Chef... sheer brilliance!!
Books:
Any Non-fiction crime books. Anne Rule series has got me hooked at the moment. She is a brilliant writer. Also love Bill Bryson, very funny man.
