Palms Down

In 1999 Roderick L. Jackson and Ayanda Clarke conceived Palms Down Inc., and in the year 2000, with the help of their good friend, and dancer, Lisa DelSignore, it became a reality. Their goal for Palms Down is to provide music that can be used as accompaniment for teachers, dancers and choreographers in a variety of disciplines, as well as pure enjoyment.Our percussionists have years of dance class and ensemble drumming experience. Their diverse individual backgrounds and playing styles helps to create a rich tapestry of sound.The music of Palms Down has been used on MTV's Road Rules and Real World. Individually, our members have performed on stage with some of the best of the music industry including Roberta Flack, Harry Belafonte, Q-Tip, The Fugees, Busta Rhymes, and Jewel.
