I used to work for Bill Graham Presents (a rock and roll promoter out of San Francisco, you may have heard of him, he only put on Woodstock 1 and 2, The US Festivals, California Jam 1,2,3, Live Aide) And during my time as a Roadie doing "Main Loadin, Loadout" I was given the opportunity to meet many, many major Rock stars, their families and friends. And of all the cool things I have done in my life, that was the coolest!
These are of me and a few of my friends and Family
I have one of the most diverse musical backgrounds ever:
I grew up in Detroit Mich. in the late 60's, during the heart of the "Motown" era. With Family all through the deep South and having that influence, I also had older sisters getting into "Rock and Roll" (I went to my first concert at age 14... KISS Cobo Arena, Detroit MI.'76) And I never told any of my friends, but I was also snagging my parent's Benny Goodman and Bert Bacharach records. So yeah, I have extremely varied Musical interests.
Right now, and I know this may sound weird, all I really listen to mostly is Country and Punk.
Country cuz it's cool, "Workin Man's" music, and Punk, cuz I have a lot of close friends who are extremely successful in the business.
Here is a small sampling of stuff that I like. There is everything here from Hank to Hendrix.... literally. Check back often as I will be constantly updating my selection.
I am a TVhaulic!! For some reason, as much as I hate them as people, I really like Cop shows. And I am a HUGE Golf, Baseball, Football, Hockey fan. And I LOVE Professional Wrestling!
Not a huge reader. But in Highschool, I read only 1 book, and saw the movie (The Day Of The Jackal 600+pages) and it got me through book reports all through Highschool. Did it 4 times..... pretty cool huh?
I wish I could say it was my Father.... but, nah. My true hero in life was Steve Irwin.
