Shaun Judah is an emcee turned poet. An Army brat Shaun Leavell has met a lot of different types of people which makes his back ground not like most. His heart open to people from all walks of life, races, religions...he recognizes the importance of diversity in life! Born in Louisville, Ky, growing up in Indiana, San Francisco, Ca and landing in Birmingham, Al, in 1990 he has been up and down and back several times.After a four year stint in the military he himself the globe trotter, lived in Savannah, Ga for a year working his magic as a battle Emcee. Hosted an open mic battle in Hinesville, Ga a little bit up the road from Sav where he started out as a contestant, and dominated the scene and started his move into Spoken word. Moving back to Birmingham in 2003 "Shaunlala" at the time was appearing at venues everywhere trying out his new love for poetry. 2005 was a year for change...the artist formally known as Shaunlala was spoken to by the Spirit of God and the man became Shaun Judah...the story is just beginning!
