Layla first got record deal at the age of 21 with BMG, signed by Nick Raymond of Take That and was blessed enough to find herself riding global waves, touring internationally with a hit 'drum and bass pop' song remixed by Goldie and Marshall Jeferson. Layla appeared on top of the pops for great British song contest coming 4th alongside Gina G. Regional radio all over the country played the record and slowly but surly a large fan base began to grow in UK. After playing live and taking advice from one of Britney Spears producers Robert Jazayeri, Layla spent 2 months with him in an artist house in Washington DC learning new things and blossoming into a potentially outstanding performer. Doing acoustic live gigs in London venues such as Jewel, Aura, Volstead Momo’s and No.5 Cavendish Square has helped her maintain a good fan base. Recently focusing more on Songwriting Layla has written 2 house tunes signed by well know Italian House label due for release in the not to distant future, alongside House DJ Diego Ray with Sound 4 Group with the track “BELIEVE IN ME”. Working also with house Producer and DJ Darren Tate (DT8 Project) and just came back from singing his 2 hit songs in front of 25000 people at a festival in Madrid. Unique, Strong and Husky vocals give Layla a full volume singing style. The next track to be released by Group4Sound will be the rocking energetic track “FREQUENCIES”. Currently you can see Layla live at THE LIVING ROOM on Heddon St off Regents St in London every weekend either fridays or saturdays, gig starts at 8pm to 10pm. Free entry.
