CRAIG SHARPEMy Name is Craig Sharpe I was Born on September 23rd, I started my interest in singing before I started to talk, claims my mom. I would always sing songs from the movie ''Wanes World''. I did my first performance when I was 11 years old, singing an East coast song ''Jack was every inch of sailer''. When my performance was over I had a great deal of feed back, then at that moment when the audience was going crazy, I realized this is my life, MUSIC! I then started practicing balad's like '' Open Arms'' by Journey and some country songs like '' I could not ask for more'' by ''edwin mccann''!After singing at weddings, benefits, and just local events in my community I entered the world of Competitions. I entered the National Youth Talent search when I was 12 years old singing '' I'll never break your heart'' by the Backstreet Boys and got disqualified, becouse My karaoke track had backround vocals in them. So I sang anyway, just so people would hear my voice and know my name! I went back the year after singing Mariah Carey's version of ''Open Arms'', I had big shoes to fill singing that song but I pulled through and ''Won'' the competition. I then was sent off to Regina , Saskatewan representing Newfoundland and Labrador Finishing in 10th place!Then after serveral years of practicing I entered another competition called Newfoundland Teen Karaoke Idol, I made the first round of it until Canadian Idol came along then I tryed out for that! After making the first couple of rounds then finding out I was going to Toronto with Idol, I had to drop out of Nfld Teen Karaoke Idol. I was sad but excited too becouse I was going on a TV show that could make my career!Canadian Idol, made my name a house hold Name. After weeks and weeks of competing and performing, The competition came to an End. Leaving myself and Eva Avila up for the title. Eva walked away with the crown so I had some looking to do! I met up with Orin Isaacs, the Musical directer for Canadian Idol I did some demo songs with him and then when the New Years came along we had a cd in our hands! Our songs came out good enough for a cd! So many photo shoots and interviews later I announced that My First Cd was comming out Febuary 27th! then my life began.Thinking about all my fans, and the fan club ''The Sharpies'' I know this would be just what they were waiting for! This cd Goes out to all my Fans who supporting me through out this whole Ride and my Family and friends for beleaving in my talent soooo that a short story about my career, I will keep adding things as my career exceeds!!!
