I am here for Friends

About Me

I am currently working with The City Sinners , a Gram Parsons Tribute Show and now doing gigs with "The Fabulous Rodneys" a country rock band from Glasgow.I used to play pedal steel guitar, and work with John Miller and His Country Casuals , and prior to that the Radio Sweethearts. For the steel minded I play a MSA Millenium SD10, thru a Peavey Profex into a Peavey Nashville 400. My other interests are flying, long since given up due to the cost, most of my hours were on Cessna 150/152/172 aircraft. These days a lot of my time is taken up by my three Labrador dogs(two chocolate and one black). In the past I have worked or recorded with numerous Artists and bands from the UK and USA, Including Laura Cantrell,Ben Vaughn, Michael Shelley, John Herald, Chip Taylor, Rosie Flores,Mark Erelli and from the uk Tony Goodacre, Hogtied, Jacksonville, John Wesley, Brian Hughes, etc .There is also an as yet unreleased album with Jerry Lee Lewis. I am always available for gigs /dep work/ recording, so if you need pedal steel get in touch.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in Pedal Steel, and J.D.Maness/John Hughey my favourite players. stop press: Just met Jay Dee at Dallas and had the honour of meeting and talking to the late great John Hughey also at Dallas before his passing. What great guys and what players!!!
