You can get my CD there, you can even try it out for FREE, we have had lots of problems getting the CD in the Shops so think it's best to sell it ourselves!So...I am Shaun, I'm 18 at the moment, I live in Wigan, Lancashire with my mum and dad, two sisters, Kirsty, 16 and Leanne, 14 and my dog who is called Shearer...lol my dad is a big Newcastle fan, thats where the name came from for the dog! hehe. I went to Cansfield High School in Ashton, my two sisters are still there now! Then I went on to Wigan and Leigh college to study Music, I found that is was mostly based on rock type music like kaiser cheifs and the kooks and I struggle to sing properly to that type of music, so after a year, I transfered to Catering, since cooking is anither thing I enjoy, although, my mum hates it when I cook cos I dont tidy up as I am going, so she has to! hehehe.Whilst I was at catering college, I applied to be on the Xfactor in 2006. I was successful with my application and got to audition for the producers of the show. I only applied to see what it was all about! I have watched it for a couple of years now and went to see the Xfactor Live show at the MEN in Manchester, when Shayne Ward won it! So anyway, everyone knows me now as the nervous boy who cried on TV...lol. But I got throught to the final 7 in the 16-24 age category, the Simon Cowell asked me the question I dreaded most..."do you honestly believe you can sing live on stage in front of millions of viewers, week after week after week?" Of course I answered this truthfully, and there my X factor journey ended...or at least I thought it had!But I was wrong! I have switched christmas lights on in Wigan, the Trafford Centre and Bury. I was asked to support Eton Road on a six date northwestern mini tour at christmas, I was even invited to appear and sing LIVE to the Nation on the X factor Final show on 16th December 2006! Which was amazing! This is when I met my management team, Phil, Neil and of course Lee! We all put our heads together and decided that we would have go in a recording studio! None of us had done it before, so we spent three long weeks there! The Idea was initially to make a CD we could sell at gigs...but then distributors became interested and as they say the resty is history! Sadly though, a few things went wrong with supply to shops and to itunes etc, so my album, hasn't done quite as well as we thought it might! Phil, Neil, Lee and myself are all still positive about it! And think we can make it sell. When we launched the album, I did a week long tour of shopping centres aroung the UK, I met some great people there and was really happy to see so many people from myspace and the forum at the shows. I also visited some schools in the Northwest and Northern Ireland, these were fun too! Especially Holly Lodge school in Liverpool, when a spider ran across the floor! I dont like spiders either!
