Resonance Mastering

Major label quality, indie budget!

About Me

For complete info, client list, and preparation instructions, please visit www.resonancemastering.com.Releasing an album is an investment. Getting the best possible sound means selling more CDs, thereby getting the best return on that investment. Major labels have all their releases mastered professionally, because mastering can make a mediocre recording sound good, and a good recording sound excellent. Resonance Mastering offers major label quality CD mastering and replication on an indie budget. The overall volume and spectral balance of your finished master will be comparable to other major label CDs in the genre, and will translate well to radio, mp3, and other formats.I personally handle all of the mastering myself, unlike some mastering houses where a head engineer oversees multiple projects. I've mastered hundreds of CDs since I launched the business in 1998 under the name 11th Records Mastering. Although I'm fluent in all genres, I specialize in electronic music.Don't let anyone master your project on faith alone. Allow me to show you what I can do by mastering one of your tracks at no charge. I'm confident you'll like what you hear. Simply upload your mix and I'll e-mail you a link to download your mastered file within a day or two. There's no obligation or cost whatsoever. When you're ready to take the next step, drop me an e-mail at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing your music! - Brian Hazard, Mastering EngineerWhat makes Resonance Mastering different?* I've specialized in mastering electronic music full-time for eight years (though I work in all styles). * I master your CD over the course of several sessions, as opposed to some big name mastering plants where an intern does it in one late night session. We all know the value of approaching a project with fresh ears and a clear head. * If I hear a problem in your track that would be best addressed on your end, I'll let you know and give you the chance to upload a new version. * I offer mix consultation at $50 per hour. In most cases, I can make precise and detailed suggestions for every track on your CD in one hour. Many artists and labels routinely hire me for mix consultation in order to fine-tune their mixes prior to mastering. * My web site and FTP server allow you to submit your materials conveniently over a broadband internet connection 24/7. * I provide the mastered files for you to download and audition on your playback systems, so we can make any desired changes before masters are burned. * One-stop shopping with competitive pricing and fast turnaround. I offer a $50 replication discount on any CD that I master. You are billed by the track, not by the hour, so you'll know your total cost up front. * Although the vast majority of people are pleased with the mastering decisions I make, my overriding goal is to realize your artistic vision. If you are unsatisfied with your master for any reason, I will make one set of changes at no charge. In the rare event that changes are still required, you'll be billed at $50 per hour.
