Solace

I’m a College student studying commercial design in Minnesota. I'm an illustrator by trade so I spend most of my time sketching or abusing a Wacom tablet. I'm into most all types of art (with a few necessary exceptions) so I never out-grew comic books or those over-sized art collections you find at Barnes and Noble (You know, the kind that won't fit on a shelf). I'm opinionated and well-educated and I'm prideful of both facts. Empathy and realism are important aspects of any person to me, as is hopeless romanticism and the occassional need to set off fireworks late at night. I feel no shame in appreciating and admitting that I possess those qualities or that I waste far too much time watching Law & Order reruns. I'm secure in my own skin and I'm content with that, so I generally don't need a lot of other people to have a good time, but I won't deny that it helps. I like computers and video games and quite a few other "nerd" activities, but I blend it in daily with being a starving musician and aspiring tattooist, so the walking contradiction theory won't really offend me. I'll spare you anymore of life story though since I don't believe its that interesting.
