About Me

The new CD compilation by Dazzle is out now. This 10th compilation mixed by Dazzle, is the obvious next step in the continuing musical journey that this Dutch dj/producer set off already years ago. His love for trance, progressive and house is embedded in every compilation mixed by Dazzle, since his first mix compilation called ‘Freedom, A Celebration Of Life’ was released.
Forward II combines Dazzle’s very love for electronic dance music and the vibe he creates on the dance floor with his superb mixing skills and his ability to read the crowd, into a CD which holds the best of uplifting and energetic trance, including some of Dazzle’s latest releases. But above all, it gives you the dance floor experience in the privacy of your own space, in a way only a few dj’s can define on CD.

About Dazzle
Dutch dj/producer Dazzle embarqued on his musical journey in 1994. Fired up by Tiesto and his Black Hole Recordings, he played world wide gigs at the age of eighteen. Nowadays Dazzle proofs again and again to be on top of dance music. His release ‘Cheers!/Traced’ last month on Fektive Records, the upcoming release ‘Zero’, together with Octagen on Inspired and the arrival of ‘Forward II’, his new mix compilation on Mostly Recordings: they all mark his love for energetic and uplifting trance, which is embedded in every release, since his first mix compilation ‘Freedom, A Celebration Of Life’, in 1998.
Dazzle has performed on stages like Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Rockit Open Air, Dancetour, Gigadance, Space Miami and so on. With two summer smashes last year, ‘Chaos Theory’ and ‘Relativity’, he has big time support by Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. Dazzle is a house hold name for energetic, uplifting main room trancers, which definately throw a smile on every one’s face, leaving clubbers dancing like there’s no tomorrow.

Dazzle is a dj/producer who in the summer of 2008 again has proved to hold a firm position in the international EDM scene with the release of the outstanding track ‘Chaos Theory’. It was an absolute summer smash and got played unlimited times by Armin, Paul and Ferry at the biggest events like Space in Miami at the WMC, Judgement Sundays, Time Warp, multiple times at Amnesia and so on... Furthermore the track featured on several Vonyc Sessions by PvD, ASOT editions by Armin and on the Radio 1 Essential Mix by John O’Callaghan. Paul van Dyk adopted the track on it’s ‘Cream Ibiza 2008’ compilation and also ‘Chaos Theory’ got on the ‘Godskitchen 10 Year Anniversary’ compilation by John O’Callaghan and on the Ronski Speed compilation ‘Worldwide Trance Sounds’.

Album wise Dazzle has always been very keen on releasing top quality compilations. Most recently ‘FFWD 2007-The Album’, but if you take a trip down memory lane, you will find four outstanding releases in the Freedom-series. With Black Hole Recordings Dazzle also released Soundbox, Maxim, Forward and the two official albums of FFWD Dance Parade 2006 & 2007. From the first Freedom on his sound has developed into the style of music he plays nowadays: very rhythmic and energetic electro-trance.

Dazzle is a very productive producer and works a lot with Re-Ward, Daniel Wanrooy, Re:Locate and Sied van Riel. He also has produced tracks and remixes with people like Cor Fijneman, Three Drives and Geert Huinink and made remixes for Way Out West, 2Souls, Andain and Jan Johnston. In 2007 he released tracks on FiveAM, Monster Tunes and Mostly Recordings.

In 2008, besides the release of ‘Chaos Theory’, Dazzle also asked big attention with the release of ‘Backwards’, a thriving track with remixes by Mark Sherry and Re-Ward. Powerful and very good for the floor, as all the big names in dance music claimed. The remix of the re-release of Public Domain’s ‘Operation Blade’, on Detox Records is out January 2009 and last but surely not least Dazzle’s latest release ‘Relativity’ on Vandit will surely set the tone for the beginning of 2009.

Dazzle played festivals like Dance Valley, Impulz, Extrema Outdoor, Rockit Open Air, Dancetour, Frequence Outdoor, Gigadance, Trance Energy and four times solo on the FFWD Dance Parade. He also played countries like Israel, Norway, Russia, Spain, Poland, Mexico, Greece and the US.More details: www.djdazzle.com & www.myspace.com/djdazzle
