Northern nutter (and bloody proud of it too) with a strong passion for music, football, beer and women... oh, and small pigmy-type folk called Cyril...My main thing in life is my music - I have been "doing" music (studying, writing and performing) for as long as I can remember now - my family is quite musical as both of my sisters are musicians too, although their tastes are somewhat different to mine. My great grandmother (R.I.P Nan) was also a singer and played piano, and was often aired on the wireless during WW2...Football is on a par when it comes to my passions. I used to be a lot fitter and healthier a few years ago, playing a lot of sports, footie being the main one. Playing aside, I'm also a fanatical supporter for my local home-town club Chester City, and also (following in my Dads footsteps) Leeds United. I used to travel the country watching matches every weekend, but for now I can only take in a game when I get the opportunity (work, music and money permitting)...Beer - need I say more about this? I love my drink - I'm mainly a REAL beer drinker... none of this "fizzy-keg-shite" that most people call Lager. I like bitters, ales and stouts - Northern and proud!! As for my spirit (poison) of choice - Dark Rum is always good - especially Woods 100, Bacardi 8 (super super reserve) and Captain Morgans Spiced... I also like whiskey - Famous Grouse, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, and I suppose Southern Comfort is ok too...Other things I love to do are hang out with friends and just generally have fun - that can be video games (I love the challenge that they can bring and the competitiveness that grows between friends as the game goes on), a good game of poker (I love Texas Holdem and will gladly play anytime if there are enough people up for it), gigs and festivals (messy chaos almost every time) and going to pubs and clubs to either play some pool or get messy and hammered! I also love watching a good film (cinema or at home) and having a nice dinner - I love to go out to places or get in a takeaway, but I also love to cook and take great pride in it - although I hate cooking for just myself - I always cook too much and throw half of it away, which is a waste - I love the challenge of preparing something nice for someone else to enjoy...As for women... well, I'm single and still waiting to find the right girl... I'm sure she's out there somewhere, but not sure where exactly. I've felt on a few occaisions that I've met the right person before, but alas, I have been proved wrong each time... One day I'm sure I'll find someone who is on the same wavelength as me - someone who knows how to let loose and have fun, and has a sense of humour that bounces off mine quite nicely - someone who appreciates similar things to me, although not necessarily everything, as it's good to have somethings different...
