i'm starting to relax and let life happen more. little things mean a lot more than they used to mean. that said, a bit of info on the old man here.i like playing tennis, swimming, reading, talking to friends over coffee, watching movies. if i had one day to live, i'd spend it with my wife who is my best friend and constant comfort in life.dark beer is good.i love life!

Spiritual formation; philosophy, culture, truth, ideas that last longer than 10 or 20 years, reading from intellectual giants, tennis, weight-lifting, walking, really good, dark beer, serving others, enjoy teaching college courses (Greek, history, theology, worldviews,etc.), love public speaking!

Gladiator (it's a man-thing); Babbette's Feast; I love foreign films for their in-depth character development, well developed story lines and insights into local culture (for example: the Widow of St. Pierre); Count of Monte Cristo; Somewhere in Time; To Kill a Mockingbird; Watership Down; The Hobbit; Casino Royale; enough!

Television:

House (love the brilliance, dry wit and cynicism of Doctor House-it's hard to be that intelligent and be well-adjusted!); Tennis matches; March Madness. Not into TV much.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban live in my hometown. I see them at Starbucks' occasionally, but today they came into my furniture store. She's really tall, like 6 feet. Very elegant. Fun stuff.
