About Me

Hi! Im Katie. Well lets see, I just got married on June 14t, my husband Jake and I live .3m from my parents where I grew up! It makes it pretty handy. We bought the house in March that was built in the year 1900 and if you know me you would know that old things are pretty cool in my book. I love history and old stuff, maybe someday I will put my college education to use but not yet. (BA in History) We have a wonderful dog Cheyenne who is a Vizsla, (look it up it is a pretty damn cool breed)and 2 very unique cats. One follows me all around like a dog and the other loves water....wierd! My life philosophy is "never be boring" I try to live up to that everyday and for those of you that know me you know that I live up to that almost everyday!! On top of that I am a goof ball. :) May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and my their arms be to short to scratch. :)

My Interests

Anything outdoors! Hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, tubing down muddy creek, sunning my self at the beach, singing random songs, playing Texas Hold 'em..... I have also been known to rock climb. Traveling is awsome! Last year we went to Iowa, California and Aurba. This year we went to the Bahamas for our honeymoon and we just got back from Colorado.

Music:

Country! Old and new, Yes I am a redneck! But I like all types of music, rap (old school), rock, oldies, blue grass, Irish Drinking songs, Tartan Terrors (check out their website, they are hilarious!)......etc.

Movies:

I like sappy movies! Action movies, Disney/Pixar, any movie that makes you feel good after watching it, they have to always get the girl or the bad guy. Real life happenings are depressing enough. And yes, the Notebook, Dumb and Dumber! Ace Ventura movies! The new favorite is Enchanted! Soooo cute

Television:

I dont watch to much TV. Just the History Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel and sometimes the good old shows, like That 70's show, CSI, Simpsons, etc.

Books:

That thing, that moment, when you kiss someone and everything around becomes hazy and the only thing in focus is you and this person and you realize that that person is the only person that you're supposed to kiss for the rest of your life, and for one moment you get this amazing gift and you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it and so scared that that it will go away all at the same time. Anyone who can rise above a circumstance to be that better person! My cousin Josh volunteered to go to Iraq, he leaves this month, my new hero!
