Crypt defines itself through fast drumming parts and furious guitar riffs. Crypt has been influenced by bands like Slayer, Haunted, Sepultura and Entombed. Nevertheless, they play only their own songs and no covers. Crypt is aiming at setting own standards…
After three years of intensive preparations, the band gave their debut on stage in “Fismo†in Einsiedeln on the 8th of May in 2004. Crypt opened the concert for the two most successful Swiss death metal bands Requiem and Disparaged. After the concert, Branko Kozic joined the band with his deep grave-opening sound. The band and Roman Marty went separate ways due to professional reasons. He was replaced by Rolf Waldmeier aka Jimmy with his unique voice and unlimited lunge capacity.
One year later, on the 23rd of April in 2005, Crypt performed for the first time in the new line-up in the Schwanen in Pfäffikon. The band’s line-up has been unchanged since…
The band is still at the beginning of its development with only eight concerts. However, first highlights were their gig at the “March Rock Festivalâ€, Openair in Altendorf, the international debut in Germany and their concert in the “Gaswerk†Winterthur. Currently, the band is working on their demo CD, which should provide them with many more opportunities to prove their talent to rock any hall or openair..... --
