I've gone to this high school for 7 1/2 years, I'm no dummy

About Me

Currently attending NYCC (that's New York Chiropractic College in case you're wondering) working on becoming Dr. Tom. (WOOHOO!) Self-proclaimed dork and travel enthusiast. Seeing as how I love to travel, being stuck in small town Seneca Falls is turning out to be quite the downer. I did a mini trip to Europe recently (London, Amsterdam, Brussels) and I'm dying to go back. So far I've been to 12 states and 2 Canadian provinces too. My goal is to step on every continent on the planet (well maybe I'll skip Antartica). I've only got a taste of traveling, but I'm hooked. My ass is totally goin on a total tour of Europe when I'm outta here. It's gonna be tough balancing career vs. freedom, but you gotta enjoy life when you're young, not when you're 65 and walking around with a bad back and a prosthetic hip. Money will come and go, but you gotta experience life before it passes you by. When I can't get outta this crappy town my bass is my outlet. I'm sure my roommates are sick of hearing me play Coheed & Cambria's "The Suffering", but it's a fun song to play, I can't help it. Other random tidbits: I love super dodge ball for nintendo and George Bush is an idiot. I've also been told lately that I do some kick ass impressions...Yoda, Bill Cosby, Arnold, Dr. Walker/Beetlejuice (they are actually one in the same believe it or not). Some even say I should drop outta school and do that for a living (yea thanx rachel ;-) ) Big fan of Star Wars (hey the dorky side's gotta come out somewhere), the NEW YORK RANGERS, GIANTS AND YANKEES. I am a Knick fan as painful as it is to watch them these days. Living in wine country has had one advantage...WINE EVERYWHERE!! I seem to have acquired a taste for a great Cab Sauv, Riesling and who could forget RED CAT! aka HHJ. I'm also becoming a beer snob...Arrogant Bastard, Brooklyn Brown, Maudite, Maibock...damnit! I just drueled on my keyboard. MMMMM soooo good! What more can I say? I guess you'll have to ask. This layout created by www.contactsformyspace.com

My Interests

Music (playing or listening) and there is nothing better than a kick ass concert. Sports, soccer and track have been bred into my bones. I cant see my life ever not having them involved. School, yea I like school. But now it's more than just studying all the time. School is where my friends are so we can plan a night out after a crazy final or someplace to go when we have a weekend off. School is what my entire life revolves around so if I didn't like it I think it's safe to say I'm in the wrong place. I have huge appreciation for art, partly b/c I suck at it, but it makes you look at life in a new perspective. It allows me to see things as I would have never been able to previously. My friends, they are the greatest people I know. Without them I have no purpose here or anywhere. Since I'v left the Queen City (aka Buffalo) I'm realizing that this chapter in my life is coming to a close, but I hope those people will continue to be parts of the next one.

I'd like to meet:

People who are genuine and know who they are. People who have a real sense of direction...and once in a while it takes them places they never thought they would be.If you think you fit this description feel free to IM me at speedemon1082 cause being in Seneca Falls has limited my ability to meet people. :-pOh yea this little guy would be cool too.

Music:

OLP, 311, Sublime (if you like Sublime check out Badfish they kick ass live!), Brand New, AFI, The Get Up Kids (Something to Write Home About is amazing), Incubus, MxPx, Midtown, Alkaline Trio, The Push Stars, Senses Fail, Dispatch, Paramore, Gatsby's American Dream, Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, Coheed and Cambria, Funeral for a Friend, Jimmy Eat World (Clarity is still their best cd), The Cure, Weezer, Something Corporate, Mae, The Movie Life, Grasshopper Takeover, Motion City Soundtrack, The Eels, Finch, The Academy Is..., The Honorary Title, Billy Talent, Thursday, Dead Kennedys, Underoath, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Kane Hodder, Kick Williams, Gym Class Heroes, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, This Day and Age, Foo Fighters, Unwritten Law, The Donnas, Mest, not much else comes to mind, but the list goes on for days.
You Are an Emo Rocker!
Expressive and deep, lyrics are really your thing. That doesn't mean you don't rock out... You just rock out with meaning. For you, rock is more about connecting than grandstanding. What Kind of Rocker Are You?

Movies:

DONNIE DARKO!!, Wayne's World!, Boondock Saints, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Office Space (that's my red stapler....burn the place down), V for Vendetta, Basketball Diaries, Road Trip, Eurotrip (you all know its funny!), Star Wars, Clockwork Orange, anything made by Tim Burton

Television:

Outside of [adult swim], I say kill your fuckin TV. I hate the news the most. I love the one from the Syracuse local news trying to scare everyone from MySpace saying how dangerous it was. If it's not that its stupid shit like "Nick and Jessica broke up" or "oh geez what a fashion faux-pas from Hillary Swank at the Academy Awards" WHO THE FUCK CARES! If this is important to you, well I suggest you get off your ass...

Books:

The Great Gatsby, LOTR, catcher in the rye, slaughterhouse 5, perks of being a wallflower, the stand (which is ridiculously long!), and yes I've been sucked in by Harry Potter too...oh yea and I never leave my house without my Netter's Atlas :-p.

Heroes:

This guy kicked a little ass in his day.And of course my old man. I live everyday to make him proud.

My Blog
