About Me

I am in such a happy place in my life right now. I couldn't be more content than I am as the wife to my wonderful husband, Joshua, and the mother of my daughter, Madison. Josh and I have been married since July of 2005 and we had our little girl in 2007. We love being parents...it's the best thing that has happened to us! I am just loving life and feel so fortunate and blessed.I teach 1st grade in my very own elementary school and love what I do. It's so rewarding. I try to have a very optimistic attitude about life and really appreciate and enjoy the little things. I love to have fun, but I also have a serious side as well and enjoy lazy days at home with my family. I am surrounded by the most amazing friends...they are my chosen family! I guess I'm just happy to be who I am and have such great people to share it with.

My Interests

Traveling, traveling, traveling! I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I also love boating and just being on the water. I enjoy biking, and now that I have my own home I love decorating and putting a room together. Scrap booking is also something I enjoy that brings out the crafty side of myself. It's a lot of fun to take cherished memories and save them in that way. My favorite pastime is spending time with my husband and daughter, whether it be at home watching movies and relaxing or spending a fun day/night out with family or friends. A close second to that of course, like many other ladies is...shopping!!!!!!!! There's no better therapy than spending money! Now that I'm a new mommy, I love spending time with my daughter...I could stare at her all day. She is such a miracle!

I'd like to meet:

old friends...nothing like catching up with people from the past...I'm not very much one who idolizes famous people, so I wouldn't say I'd like to meet any one person, except maybe Oprah.

Music:

I like a huge variety, but HATE rap

Movies:

Just like my music I also like a variety, but don't really like watching a movie over again unless it's FABULOUS!

Television:

American Idol, CSI:NY, House, ER, Extreme Home Makeover, Oprah, The Baby Story

Books:

I actually recently started to enjoy reading...that's a first for me! I like reading realistic fiction.

Heroes:

My heroes are my husband, my family, and my friends. They are a huge part of my well-being and happiness.
