This is the musical soundscape of Miami Singer/Songwriter/Producer Christopher Phipps and his solo project sILENTsTORM. From the late 80's into the early 90's Phipps band London Exchange("Memories of You") and there techno side project Deus- Ex-Machina("The Threat of Aggression") enjoyed commercial success with a string of dance club and radio hits that reached a worldwide audience. This latest musical venture was written and recorded as a first ever release out of his home studio in South Florida and was inspired by other electronic artists such as VNV Nation,Underworld & D.J George Acosta whom Phipps became friends with during his residency at the legendary Shadow Lounge on Miami's South Beach. The album also draws on influences from the alternative & indie rock scenes. From the playful club anthem "Tonight" to the post 9/11 thought provoking sign of the times "Do You Feel" Pt.1 & Pt.2 this album draws you in at the beginning and doesn't let you go until the final feedback of guitars fades off into the sunset on the beautifully haunting closing track "California".
