The scene continuously changes as new fads come in and out and the expectations of the pleasure-seeking Ballaz evolve.The expectations of the partying ballaz have changed some what in the last decade. The music trends in the early 1990’s (house, funk and drum & bass) meant that clubbers over a decade ago were looking for a venue to just dance in. You went to a club in jeans and trainers and danced until you sweat.However, in the late 1990’s the ‘Bling’ era was born. It was now all about image. The music culture had changed dramatically (with the popularisation of hip-hop) and it now had an emphasis on glamour, fame and wealth. ballaz were keen to be seen in the most happening bars/clubs, spending £1000s on the most expensive champagne, whilst wearing the latest outfit by Versace and Armani to name but a few. As Ballaz spending, clothing and behaviour became excessive, so too did the press coverage. Over-exposure from the media was the norm and seeing the Ballaz lavish culture everyday on TV, in every paper and in every magazine was commonplace.As with every Pop culture or fad, the Ballaz bling culture was rapidly emulated by the 15-35’s and this generation now wanted to wear the best clothes, drive the best cars and go to the most glamorous places.So keep posted because for the first time in the True Ballaz history the doors will be opened for all non members, to attend invite only events in the up and coming months !!!
