Influences: 90% of the music i listen to is from 70's to 2000's, mosltly 80's to 90's. I grew up listening to Pirate Radio Stations- Buzz FM, Soul Nation, this is were the music i listen to today pretty much came from. I was also heavily influenced by my uncles, who's record collection doesnt end. My Record collection is based on old rnb/soul, old hiphop/rap, jungle/dnb, rave, old skool, house, dub, raggae, breakbeat, techno. producers that influence my music: 1ST I WANT TO SAY UNSIGNED ARTIST FROM MANCHESTER & UK THAT HAVE INFLUENCED ME BY DJING ON STATIONS AND SHOWING ME U CAN BE SUCCESSFULL IN MUSIC WITHOUT MAKING MILLIONS. Sounds Like: WELL LETS JUST SAY I DONT WANNA SOUND LIKE THIS NEW DNB CRAP. I think drum and bass is going down the pan. Alot of the new tunes i listen to now adays aint sayin much at all. The sound is changing fast.I think the reason for this is. Alot of people from different countrys are producing dnb now. They are using rock and metal sounds with dnb. I think it sounds aweful. If you look at the route of dnb/jungle the samples used was dub sounds/samples,soul and abit of hiphop. But i suppose if thats wot they like then so be it.but i dont think people from other countries have much knowledge of the route of the music. THATS JUST MY VIEW. Or they like to add other types of music that there into to jungle. STOP IT IT SOUNDS CRAP.I have been to alot of nights and the tunes are garbage, but u look around and the dance floor seem to like this new sound. If this crap was played in clubs yrs ago the dj would know that the crowd think its shit.Well suppose most genre of music is going the same way. Look at Hip Hop or should i say Hip Pop.i dont really wanna sound like anyone. i would rather have my own sound. obviously you get influenced by other producers. Even if no one likes my tunes. im not that bothered as long as im enjoying doing wot i do. if it stays in the bedroom then so be it.i have been djing for sometime now. Since getting my turntables it as opened my mind on music. its made me want to produce. think its every djs dream to spin there own tunes from time to time. im tryin. hahahai am also in the process of building some speakers. coz all these ones in the shops dont cater for heavy weight sound. (dillinja/Lemon D if u read this sort me out with some valve) ;-)
