Mission Statement
2Recordz Mission is to build a record company utilising local and regional talent that concentrates its initial efforts of record sales in Holland and the rest Europe ans Asia. 2Recordz will concentrate its marketing and promotion efforts to support and develop recording artists to increase sales within the regions artists perform live. 2Recordz will utilise the artists live performances in the region as the foundation of the promotion and marketing efforts so as to increase sales at the shows and within the retail stores in the cities where the artist performs live.
Company History
The original creative team that created 2Recordz has changed a little bit in formation. Since '97 Alex P has been involved in different aspects of the music business in the city of Rotterdam where he has observed different directions the industry has taken. Rotterdam is the city that can sustain and support different businesses in the music industry. He realised that the time is right to utilise the resources available and direct those efforts towards developing artists through the production and sale of records. 2Recordz and Alex P believe that it is essential to synergize the music community by building the industry infrastructure in the city of Rotterdam and further expand to the other parts of the Netherlands.
Basic Promotional Efforts
We have formulated a simple but successful strategy to market and promote 2Recordz. The overall marketing objective is to simultaneously utilise multiple marketing tools to create enough buzz for 2Recordz in the target markets to obtain a leading role in the industry.
2Recordz also organises parties. These parties have been a floor filling guarantee for the clubs in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Barcelona (Spain), Hammam-met (Tunisia), Dendermonde (Belgium), Mykonos (Greece), Bodrum (Turkey), New York (USA) and Indianapolis (USA) where 2Recordz got the opportunity to launch their artists, concepts and ideas.
