Welcome to myspace, my name is Owen. I play bass in a band. Currently in a band called The Omega Underground and we play all orginal songs in shows all over S.A. and have been doing so for years, it's still not getting old. I first started playing bass in 2001, I never really bothered with what the school tried to teach me. Most of my practice was done at home and sometimes with random local musos untill I was asked to join a band with acouple of guys from school. This 5 piece band (2 vocalists, 1 guitarist, 1 drummer, and 1 bassist) was to become known as Raw Faktor (All original songs). Raw Faktor won the first and last local music competition they'll ever compete in. After Raw Faktor was finnished, I then joined a band that would eventually be named Sonic Death Monkeys, mostly just covers this time around with 1 or 2 original songs. 2 other dudes from Raw Faktor were included in this line up (1 vocalist, 2 guitarists, 1 drummer and 1 bassist). We came second by just one point in a local competition, we were bitterly dissapointed but shit happens and we got over it pretty quickly. SDM's drummer called it quits, so we were on the hunt for a new drummer, and a new band name. We found a fresh drummer and we called ourselves...

I've lived in Port Lincoln my whole life (except for the odd holiday here and there) and that doesn't look like its gonna change any time soon. Lincoln and most of the people here are pretty alright, theres just a small handful that still think that school yard immaturity is still funny, it's just pathetic, seriously, grow up.
