Australian Rock

This is a space for small but good local rock bands. Being in 2 rock bands myself I know how difficult it can be to get on a bill with 2 other rock acts in one night. It can suck trying to cater to punk, alternative or emo audiences when really, theyve come for the other 2 bands:/ Likewise, its harder to bring your own audience when the other bands arnt of the same style. Then there the phenomenon of audience members only staying to see "their" band.Rock is no longer the broad term it used to be with all the sub catagories fairly well defined. For the record we consider "rock" to encompass heavy blues thru to shred, we love it all.This is a place you can find out whos in the local rock scene, maybe organise some gigs, share groupies, whatever.If your a touring act and your looking for some good solid ROCK supports that can bring a crowd, then this will also be a useful resource.
