About Me

"How many voices do you have?!?" exclaimed grammy award-winning songwriter Mike Reid (I Can't Make You Love Me) when I sang a classical song for him after he'd just heard my new R&B record. My response:
"As many as it takes."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have sung about a bazillion things in an attempt to keep my cat fed and the rent paid while I am furthering my solo career. I’ve sung all kinds of demos. I’ve also done cocktail piano gigs, weddings, funerals, bar mitzvahs, anniversary parties, children’s music, church music, commercials for all sorts of things, and I even played former Texas governor Ann Richards (God rest her spunky soul) in a musical once – now THAT was a hoot! It all beats flipping burgers.
I read well and I work by ear. There are samples of many styles here (dig the end of the pop/classical/theater sampler to hear me singing in Eye-talian with Mike Eldred and hitting them sopranny notes!), but if you don't hear something specific that you need, let me know. I have done many long distance sessions and have plenty of access to do so again.
Folks I've worked with or for:
Martina McBride
Wynonna Judd
Brent Maher
Garth Brooks
Gretchen Wilson
Radney Foster
