iblamerobot [R.I.P]

i blamerobot is best classified as searing, synth-lead pop, from the wilds of Calgary,Alberta. A tightly knit trio of rare musical expression, bound together by friendship and their love of music. Their influences include bands such as, The Sounds, C.S.S, The Fitness, Be your Own Pet and Ladytron, with a sound that some have deemed "musical insomnia." Through a professionally recorded demo of their own electro sound, ibr has busted through the Calgary music scene and is becoming known as one of the local leading bands in this new age genre. Indefinitely, these kids will strip you down and challenge you to dance!

This calgary-based band dosen't have an official album out, however they sent me a demo CD and I really liked what I heard! With 3 out of 4 members on our team, you can expect songs on familiar topics, as apparent in songs such as "You're just a boy in a dress" and "Dance floor drama" Indeed they have a winning combination of electronic instruments, electric guitar and rebellious female vocals that will get you hopping and head-banging. -Rob Diaz-Marino
