I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Ask me and I might tell you.

My Interests

Enjoying the outdoors (running, hiking, leisurely strolls, biking) art walks and festivals, people-watching, helping little old ladies cross the street, baking, laughing and making others laugh, traveling abroad (and exploring other cultures and languages), wine-tasting, volunteering, meeting nice people.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who doesn't have anything to prove but a lot to learn from.

Music:

U2, Sting, Sade, DMB, Morcheeba, Techno and Electronica (Delerium, PVD, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Oakenfold, etc.) World (Gypsy Kings, Mana) and lots more... not a big country fan, though.

Movies:

The list constantly grows!

Television:

Not much into TV shows, but I'm getting there.. The Office, Seinfeld, Family Guy for now. (for those that remember Ren and Stimpy, big fan here!)

Books:

Favorite novels include: Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Stranger, The Plague, Angela's Ashes, Daughter of Fortune, A Million Little Pieces, Little Children.. I own a few books on personal growth, historical novels, science and technology books, and biographies.

Heroes:

Strong, independent women, ahead of their times, like Mother Teresa, Margaret Sanger, Josephine de Beauharnais, Mademoiselle Coco Chanel.
