99% of the time I listen to hard rock & metal. Generally you'll find me listening to local or underground metal, more often than mainstream bands, being that I have so much respect for the unnoticed talent that is out there. It doesn't help that metal isn't big on MTV, let alone that MTV should be renamed to "RSTV"(Reality Show TV). That and the options are limitless to find unsigned bands and something new to listen to as well. In shorter terms, I'm a music whore.
As far as Rap & Hip Hop, I don't really listen to it personally. I'm all for it at clubs and what not. But other than that, I don't really listen to it. It probably doesn't help that most club DJ's suck and play lame shit to begin with.
