Books, music, and learning something new ~however useless or however important~ every single day.
I am fascinated by anyone that plays good music right now, especially the guitar. Neill MacColl is one of the top on my list. And someday I'll see David Gilmour in person, just to be awed by his ability. Seeing the DVD "David Gilmour In Concert" is what inspired my dismal attempt at playing.
You Are An ISFP
The Artist
You are a gifted artist or musician (though your talents may be dormant right now).
You enjoy spending your free time in nature, and you are good with animals and children.
Simply put, you enjoy beauty in all its forms and live for the simple pleasures in life.
Gentle, sensitive, and compassionate - you are good at recognizing people's unspoken needs.
You would make a good veterinarian, pediatrician, or composer.
What's Your Personality Type?
What American accent do you have? Your Result: The West
Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.
Pink Floyd,David Gilmour (I LOVE "On an Island"),The Bible (band, not book), Boo Hewerdine, Death Cab For Cutie, Liberty Horses, Nickelback, Van Morrison, Fall Out Boy, Janis Joplin, Green Day, Joss Stone, Brooks & Dunn, My Chemical Romance... anything, really. You can even throw a little Chopin and Bizet in there, too. I'm pretty ecclectic.
Anything with Sean Bean or Russell Crowe or Matthew MacFadyen (YUMMY), Pulp Fiction, A Place In The Sun, No Time For Sergeants, Trainspotting, Lord of the Rings (all of them), Master and Commander... and any Monty Python gets me giggling. Really, it depends on my mood. Not big on the chick flicks, though. ******Edited to add: I take it back about the chick flicks. I've become a big "Pride and Prejudice" junkie-the 2005 version (ok, I'm not big on Keira Knightley, but Matthew MacFadyen couldn't be more perfect {sigh}) I'm such a girl.
LOST, football, baseball, soccer, hockey. I am a RABID sports fan, whatever I watch, and have been known to injure myself just watching on tv (I tore my rotator cuff watching World Cup last year, a clumsy move only I could make). I've also been known to make people very, very mad at me when I'm watching a team that I like and they don't... my hubby locked me out of his den after a college football game a last year that went badly for his team (heehee). Apparently, I was gloating. I've also become attached to MI-5 (Spooks)- much better show than CSI or Law and Order. Anyway, those are about the only things I watch on TV, which take up a good deal of my time that I could be using to clean my house or do something constructive.rocket man

if it has words, I'll read it. I don't care, even if I feel it's junk, It still has some value.
They're still "my boys," even though Edgar is retired and they traded Chris Snelling (booooo). But, we still have Yuniesky Betancourt:-)
