First off, im a 16 years old and im one of the biggest Tar Heel fans(I know everyone says that), but i made this page for the enjoyment of me and everyone that loves the UNC Tar Heels! I update it as often as i can, i get on at least 3 times a week. Hope you do like the page, ask me questions anytime!The University of North Carolina has been a basketball dynasty throughout its history. Winning the National Championship in 1924, 1957, 1982, 1993, 2005, and...2009! They have had more talent come and go through UNC than you could imagine, in names like Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, James Worthy, Tyler Hansbrough and so, so many more. Over recent years, we've recieved argulably the best player to come thru carolina in Tyler Hansbrough. Also Sean May, Raymond Felton, Rashad McCants, Wayne Ellington, Ty Lawson have come in recent years. Last season was a great one, but the Tar Heels came up short with there goal to take a National championship with a stunning loss to Kansas. But this 2009 season was a special one with a experienced crop of Seniors, outstanding Juniors, and faboulous sophmores and freshman. They took home the Maui trophy, took Duke out twice, finished first in the ACC, and took the 2009 National Championship with that!!
