there are places I remember
All my life, tho' some have changed
some forever not for better

all these places have their moments
with lovers & friends i still can recall
some are dead & some are living
in my life, i've loved them all
But of all these friends & lovers
there is no one compares with you
and these memories lose their meaning
when i think of love as something new
i know i'll never lose affection
for people & things that went before
i know i'll often stop & think about them
