I was born in Portland, OR, I have lived in Portland for the last 15 years, before that I lived in Seattle and love to go back and forth to both places all the time. I enjoy hunting down new spots and discovering beautiful areas! I am married to my wonderful husband of 7 years and we have two beautiful children, our daughter is 6 and our son is 4. We also have a wonderful 7 year old Pug named Duke. My children and husband are my most important elements and continue to inspire me in ways I never thought possible. My parents and brother are also major keys in my inspiration, They are wonderful people and I respect and appreciate them more each day! I love my family can you tell!
It is my goal and joy to make your day as memorable as possible by capturing every moment as if you were reliving it. I love weddings for the emotions and love that go through the day and I love to capture all of them as they go. I aim to capture those moments as candid as possible so they may be the most natural and real as possible! I am not one for your posed and more traditional photography, I have your more journalistic approach, and make sure the day is captured exactly as you would remember it and making sure your portraits compliment you and your spouse's style.
I love to photograph families and children as well and watch the children play and catch them in their best moments while very unsuspecting, I love to watch families play together and pretend I am not even there and allow me to capture those special moments for them!It has been an adventure and alot of hard work and determination but the results are totally worth it and the fact that I can say that "I love my job" tells me..... Why do anything else?
