StoriaI So What! nascono nell’ Estate del 2005 come progetto di Maurizio e Marco, rispettivamente batterista e chitarrista/cantante della band.In seguito a numerose e variegate esperienze musicali, l’idea dei nostri era quella di ripartire più forti che mai coniugando il proprio stile musicale con un’attitudine forte e e con quelle sonorità "robuste" che hanno saputo dare energia a ben più di una generazione...Di conseguenza, in quale band si potevano trovare queste caratteristiche ? Metallica….of course!Dopo aver “reclutato†il bassista Enrico (con il quale erano già in atto diverse collaborazioni), la “macchina†era quasi pronta a partire. Un attento lavoro di squadra in sala prove (che, ovviamente, prosegue ancora) ha permesso alla band di curare nei minimi dettagli i “classici†brani che i “Four Horsemen†di ‘Frisco propongono durante i loro infuocati show.Nell'attesa di trovare un solista che completi la neo-nata formazione, i So What! hanno registrato un Demo Live contenete i brani Enter Sandman, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Wherewer I may Roam e Master of Puppets.E' importante precisare che, pur dedicando la massima attenzione a riproporre le stesse parti, la stessa intenzione e le stesse sonorità del gruppo cui si ispirano, i So What! non aspirano ad essere cloni dei Metallica: a loro modo di vedere, e per il rispetto che nutrono verso i quattro musicisti, di band “Metallica†ne esiste una sola!Più modestamente, il loro intento è quello di far rivivere, nel miglior modo possibile, le emozioni che i Metallica hanno dato, e danno, al loro numerosissimo seguito.Marzo 2006: finalmente i So What! incontrano Marco, un giovane e promettente chitarrista alessandrino, che si propone come solista per la band.I ragazzi restano colpiti dalla professionalità e dall'impegno dimostrato da Marco nonostante la giovane età , e decidono quasi immediatamente di accoglierlo nel gruppo.Dopo meno di una settimana Marco è già in studio per completare la registrazione del promo...
History So What grow up on Spring 2005 by the project of Maurizio(Drum) and Marco(Vocal,Guitar), After many musical's experience,the idea of 'em was to start that project stronger and to put all their music's style with strong attitude and sound which have know to give energy to many generation...so where can they find those characteristics? Metallica....of course! After Enrico's "recruit" (Bass) the "metal machine" was nearly ready to start! An hard work has allowed the band to cure in the minimums details the “brani classics†that the “Four Horsemen†of `Frisco propose during their heated ones show. Waiting to find a Soloist to complete the new formation, So What! have recorded a Live Demo contains Enter Sandman, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Wherever I May Roam and Master of Puppets. It's important to specify that, also dedicating the maximum attention to reproduce the same parts, the same intention and the sound of the group which they are inspired, So What! do not aspire to being clone of the Metallica : for the way they see, and for the respect that comes towards the four musicians, “Metallicaâ€'s band exists one single! Modestly, their attempt is to make again, in the better possible way, the emotions that the Metallica has given, and gives, to their most numerous fans. On march 2006 finally So What! meets Marco, a young guy and promising alessandria's guitarrist. He proposed to become the soloist for the band. The group remains hitted from Marco's professionality and engagement demonstrated, in spite of the young age,so they decides immediately to receive him in the group.
