Star Lake Drownings

About Me

The music of Star Lake Drownings has been described as catchy, melodic, lush and textured, with vocals which range from girlish to gravelly and blend into sweet pop harmonies. A natural knack for combining classic and recent influences produces songs that seem familiar yet new.

The band released its Stella by Starlight EP in April 2007

The self-titled, full-length album is available on CD at live performances or for download at iTunes.

"Their self-titled debut is a catchy little collection of woozy dream-pop... shimmery, atmospheric sound lies somewhere in between My Bloody Valentine and Belly."
-Andrew Boe, threeimaginarygirls.com

“Infectious, melodic music is a blend of lush harmonies and edgier sounds.”
–Gene Stout, Seattle P-I

“I LOVE LOVE LOVE this band! With all my heart!... Such deeply delightful music.”
–Chris Estey, independent music critic
