Edwin P, aka Hyper Hypa, aka Pascall DJ, has established himself as one of the most respected players on the DJ scene and in music production. Like a time lord his many incarnations have traveled the musical universe, championing an eclectic mix of artists in Garage, R&B, Soul, Rare Groove, Jazz, Funky Latino, House and Drum&Bass. Renowned as a total crowd pleaser Hyper Hypa is a DJ who is adaptable, someone who can play the music that the crowds want to hear. Pioneering new trends and styles, his versatility continues to open up new doors for him. He works with some of the biggest names in the business including the 'Dreemteem, Trevor Nelson Jason Kaye, Karl 'tuff enough' Brown, Matt Jam Lamont, Norris the bosss, MJ Cole and Mikey B. As Edwin P soul funk/jazz DJ, he played at Game Bird Watford, 'Kiss' at Batchwood Hall , St. Albans, ' The Mirage' in Hemel Hempstead, 'Area' in Watford and 'The Glass Room' in Barnet during the early 90s. As Hyper Hypa he featured at 'Twice as nice', 'Garage Nation', 'Chocolate city', 'Graceland's', Camden Palace, 'Catch Da Feelin', 'Klass-Act' and at 'Beautiful People' with the legendary Shovell on percussion from M people at the Oriental Bar/Hotel in Luton. He fired up the crowd at prestigious events like the opening of 'Umbaba' in the West End, and the launch of celebrity game show "Booty Call" for sky television at China Whites in 2005. He also entertained at 'Aura' in the West End for 'Boom Parties' in 2004, 'Junction' in Cambridge, 'Area' in Watford, 'Aquarium' in London and The Vauxhall Arches. Hyper has held down Residencies at 'Sign of the times', 'faster pussycat', 'Rags to Riches' and as Pascall DJ,the infamous 'No.5 Cavendish Square' in London playing Funky House. He has also been heard on numerous pirate radio stations over the years, at Bellini's Bar for 'Party Nights' once a month. Bacardi 'B' Bar nights in Manchester, Liverpool and London in 2004 and 2005, Café Royal at Eylisium for 'Boom Parties' every Friday for 8 months. He has toured The USA, Switzerland, Ibiza and Ayia Napa and played a Hed Kandi tour in Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham and London.Production Moving into music production Hypa produced Drum&Bass 'Information Centre' and 'Feel like a king' with Gappa G . He then went on to produce 'Show me' and garage tracks such as 'Keep Watching', 'Everything You Need', 'The Touch', 'Promises Of Love' and the awesome summer hit "Buttercup" under the watchful talents of DJ/Producer Zed Bias who is one of the top producers of today. In the last few years he has begun to branch out into the production side of the industry, by joining one of the industry's top independent labels, Zed Bias's Productions including 'Phuturistix' and 'Madd Slinky'.
