About Me


(UPDATED! Finally!) I was born soon after Mt St Helens erupted. Grew up proudly in the Heart of Dixie- Leeds, Alabama- and, 26 years later, went to New York City and came back feeling- strangely- a little out of place. In between those times I hit a home run over the fence in Little League off the best pitcher in the league, became a Christian, made music in a rock and roll band that sounded great to me but nobody else, and went to college at Alabama. I studied history and philosophy and graduated feeling somewhat smarter than before. My favorite philosopher is David Hume. Hank Sr. is my favorite poet. I got married in May 2008. My wife and I are gonna travel the world and make the most of our time together. She's the best thing that has happened to me. I love rock n roll second most. I have two dogs - Atticus and Gatsby. One is ugly and smart, the other is beautiful and dumb. I sometimes think about which I'd rather be. Finally, I voted for Barack Obama. Its been a long time coming...
