I am Nita Mac (“with no connections to M.A.C. products�), a freelance makeup Artist (natural and glamour semblance being my strong and impressive quality.I have always enjoyed using and experimenting with makeup for years. Many would compliment me on my makeup and many friends would ask me to do their makeup for various functions. Encouraged by family and friends, I decided to seek professional training to embark on a career of professional makeup artistry. I received my basic beauty makeup training at the college of Dupage located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. However, I acquired more thorough and extensive training through workshops, books and more importantly through Landis (“Makeup Artist to the Stars�) of Landis Cosmetics.I am a creative makeup artist with experience in all aspects of makeup including but not limited to: runway, fashion, film, print, bridal and day & evening applications. I feel I have the innate ability to bring out the natural beauty of my subjects, no matter the gender, ethnicity or character portrayal, goals and objective of the project. I am able to use makeup as my crayon or finger paints using models as a blank canvas to create the perfect piece of art.I possess a full range of makeup expertise that span from soft and natural beauty to seductive glamour. The most important element of my work is to be able to use my creativity to enhance natural beauty yet bring out a person’s inner beauty and individuality. I bring my dynamic personality to my work, balancing dedication and professionalism.As I continue to develop my craft I am always open to creating something new with a sense of fun and creativity. My sincere appreciation for beauty and my passion for working with people shows in the work I display. I again say, I love what I do, I truly feel that this is one of the best jobs in the world.
