STYLES GRAINGER'S BIO: Orphaned in Ugoslavia and raised by African pigmy nuns, I ran afoul of right wing bio-chemists and escaped into nearby Oblivion, a small coastal town in the mohills of California. Now living in a cave, I bang out tunes reminicent of Elvis and Arron Neville receiving peanut butter and banana enemas. Have songs on MYSPACE music under HEMINGWAY CHRIST, a Stoner Rock Country Punk band, NAZARENE WITCH, a new Metal project, and TOKENS. I am also producing a new album from HEMINGWAY CHRIST, "THE SON ALSO RISES" due out in 2009. I practice screenwriting under the name W. Mykl Blankenship. In my free time I am being raised by twin boys.
THE REAL SKINNY: Raised in a military family, I attended the family run military academy and then studied for the priesthood of a certain religious organization. After working for said organization, I went off in search of non religious experiences. Fell 9 stories from the top of a commercial building in 1984 while working as a solar engineer. 120 feet to the concrete below left me paralyzed for 4 years. Then a Doc found a bone chip in my spine, removed it, and I started walking again. Then I lost my right leg after developing a pressure sore from the leg braces(Decided at that moment to discontinue use of said leg braces in the best interests of the left, and remaining, leg.) Played music throughout the 90's, hung out with the wrong crowd, left it all behind, and went to school. Again. This time for film. In my senior year I had twins. I am now looking for ways to exploit them.
