1984 is a conceptual dark 80's & new wave weekly party line, that runs since april 2002 by DJ's Tsach Zimroni (31) and Tal Argaman (28), following a radio show that went by the same name at the students radio station 106fm . (the show went off the air at the beginning of 2006).
Each week the residents Zimroni & Argaman host a guest dj from the alternative israeli scene such as Iggy Waxman, Assaf Amdorski, Eran Zur, Ronen Ben Tal ("Ur Kasdim"), "Pollyanna Frank" members, Alona Daniel ("Tatu"), former israeli 80's clubs residents like Asi Kojak, Ravid Yeoshua ("Liquid"), Choopy ("Shiroko") Moran Shnitzer ("Zman Amiti"), Oren Balisha ("Pungiun"), Yaakov Dovrat ("Liquid"), Idan Karuchi ("amsterdam), Idan Azulay ("City Hall") and many more.
Every first Wednesday of the month we take off the black suits, put on our red shoes and shiny make-up and throw a "firth grade party": a night of happy 80's, euro-pop and new romantics.
