The Show The Afterparty

The Show The Afterparty derives from the love of urban music from both Sweetz & Suga hence the entertainment name Sweetz&Suga Ent. The event is here to build a platform for artists to express their creative skills, to also build their stage performance confidence and to bridge the gap between the audience and the artists. Most artists already have music produced awaiting audience reaction and to also help to promote themselves. What makes this event slightly different is we celebrate the arisits by having an entwined afterparty with the slickest DJ's to spin tunes for the night. Apart from holding this event we also want to push women into the male dominated field of promotion and management, so we strongly advise women to come out in this field, it is hard work but can be great fun!! The Show The Afterparty officially launched on the 14th August 2006 @ Plan B where Abstract Armi, T.M.S, Leeo, Whodini, Estee and Snakeyman perfromed, alongside DJ's : Crazy Hype, Ezekiel, DJ Jabba and KnightVybz. Since the launch we have had a 'Carnival Special' event which had a great turnout and have a few more coming up for the rest of 2006 with some fresh and exciting artists to bless the mic.
