I have watched Lucious play many times down in the River Market of Little Rock over the past couple of years. Every single time I've left wondering why has he not been signed by someone who can help move him in the right direction. He has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard in a singer song writer. I really enjoy him as an acoustic solo, but I’ve also heard him plugged in with a full band backing. I watched Lucious play several times at a small pub in West Little Rock that has since closed. It was there that I realized how gifted he is. Thinking back I would say that one of his best qualities is his ability to work with the crowd. I recall the second time I attended a show after a late night at the office. I guess I arrived about one hour into the show and the place was packed there wasn’t a single occupied seat to be found. As I made my way through the crowd it began to silence and I heard Lucious say there's my little bald headed buddy as I looked up to to see his nodding grin. He has a pretty good memory considering I had only seen him play once a couple of weeks prior. Here is a small write up I found at http://www.spotlighton.tv/luciousspiller/Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Lucious discovered at an early age that God had blessed him with a special gift. Relocating to Arkansas at the age of 18, he forged his way thru the ranks with energy, spark, and fervor that to this day remains undiminished. Lucious' musical ability and showmanship have consequently catapulted him to the top of the Arkansas music scene. He has performed with countless well known musicians to include Bo Diddly, Larry "Totsy" Davis, and Big Jack Johnson. In addition, Lucious has been the opening act for such artist as the legendary Ritchie Havens' Bobby "Blue" Bland, and the infamous Tower of Power. To my loyal fans...I would like to apologize to my fans who came to see me last night, unfortunatley i was unable to attend due to technical issues.
