Listen to our interview on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire! For one week only!
Vinni Valentino are a Coventry based band formed in October 2005. With each member of the band having very different influences, our music is a unique hybrid adopting several styles, creating something new and different. The past year has been really amazing and we have firmly established our sound and had some really great feedback and press coverage. The future looks pretty exciting.

Review: by Stephen Hudyba - Surface Unsigned.
"Their sound is a mixture of Classic and Heavy contemporary Rock, yet with a sharp experimental edge; all from a band with a wealth of ideas and who are willing to push their sound past its limits. They’ve written some first-rate material that really makes the most of their compelling direction; witty lyrics, furious beats and excellent guitar work (especially the solos) all combining for a powerful noise that grabs and holds your attention. It’s no surprise they’ve seen success in other Battle of the Band’s, and from their performance at The Rainbow they showed the potential to go far."
Review: Surface Unsigned Round Two
Drawing inspiration from Classic and Contemporary Rock, they push their heavy sound past its limits for something distinctive and original. Well written and expertly arranged their Rock sound takes on a well-thought out, experimental quality that really made the band standout as something different and exciting. Performing with the same infectious energy that they did at The Rainbow, it was another first-rate performance from the band that went down very well with the Tuesday evening crowd and saw them rank amongst the strongest acts of the night.
Review: Surface Unsigned Semi-Final
Next up was Coventry’s Vinni Valentino. Rock with a progressive, almost experimental, quality, it’s a sound that has a great deal of energy and which stood out as something uniquely innovative and genuinely compelling. Having a sharp direction is of course nothing if you don’t have the songs, thankfully Vinni Valentino have got some exceptional material, well-written and with a sharp sense for tempo and momentum, and on the night they delivered one of the strongest sets worth of music. Live they were tight and put on a great show with the energy they put in onstage being reflected in an enthusiastic crowd response – who I’m sure would agree with me in saying these guys have a serious amount of potential.
