I both love and hate THINKING. REAL, thorough thinking is actually kinda hard work.
I love the art of the mind... that's the stuff psychology is made of. Oh so Maddening...Yet sweetly satisfying it is to roam free in One's Mind.

Bob Dylan... others will do
Lyrics are a huge thing for me. My favorite artist is, has been, and will always be Bob Dylan. He identifies with and expresses the human condition like no other before or since. I feel like he's a part of my soul, and i feel at home, no matter where I am, whenever or whichever I hear, think or speak about him. I love the Grateful Dead, For all the reasons any Head loves them!:) Like dylan, theres just an element of truth there. My first loves in music were the counting crows and the cranberries. Adam Duritz is the first artist that inspired me to really start writing my own songs. He's so honest about emotions, and humble to the bone. Dolores O'Riordian has such an enlightened spirit.. she reminds me of, well, a pixie or a fairie or something..LOL... JANIS JOPLIN IS MAH biatch... most soul i've ever heard come out of a cracka :) JIMI IS A SAINT MARLEY=LOVE The BEATLES ARE MY NUCKAS John Mayer Ryan Montbleau Band Umphrees McGee Keller Williams Some Gov't Mule donna the buffalo Phish and or Trey Anastasio Mike Gordon is my favorite Phish James Blunt Keane Karl Denson's Tiny Universe Modest Mouse RL Burnside RHCP Stevie Wonder Ben Harper Joe Cocker Widespread Panic I 3 Madonna (got a lil desperate for a bit there, But she appears to be gettin back on track) Ella Fitzgerald Etta James Nina Simone Neil Young Bela Fleck and The Flecktones (VictorWooten is badass) The String Cheese Incident Johnny Cash Franz Ferdinand Del McCoury (awesome bluegrass!) Jack Johnson JJ Cale... Regina Spektor Fray Gnarls Barkley KT Tunstall
My Favorites are: When Harry Met Sally, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs(Do I really have to list all of Tarantino's films?Cuz he's my fave and I love them all), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The classics Up in Smoke, Dazed and confused, etc..., :)My faves are horror movies, since i was a kid, dunno why... I'm a sucker for Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street flicks...The last movie I watched was Death Proof. My fave disney movies are Sleeping Beauty (cuz I love when the dress changes colors lol) and Robin Hood (because he's stickin it to the man!lol)

BUNNY EARS, BITCHES!OH OF COURSE!... CAROLINA TARHEELS GAMES! DUKE MAKES ME PUKE!!!
My favorite ever is I Know Why The Caged Bird sings by the great Maya Angelou, all of her literary works have inspired me a thousandtimes over. THE BOOK I WOULD SUGGEST TO ANYONE: THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED: A NEW PSYCHOLOGY OF LOVE, TRADITIONAL VALUES, AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH BY M.SCOTT PECK, M.D. This book has both blown my mind and given it structural improvement., Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach (looks like a little book, but actually took me longer than expected to read; it's a great motivational bit) Others: Memoirs of A Geisha, currently reading The Road Less Traveled & Beyond: Spiritual Growth In An Age Of Anxiety by M. Scott Peck
My Dad, Sgt. Jack Finneran...Miss him desperately to this day, although it's been 10 years since he passed. He's the strongest man I've personally ever known, and is still very much alive in my mind. My Mother... She's had a really hard life, and somehow still has the strength to go on. It gives me hope that as my already waivering-sanity attempts to drift away from me, My spiritual and emotional strengths will increase and save me from myself.Bob Dylan, of course! That man has felt and expressed every emotion that can be felt. His music and writing can be silly and psychedelic, strange and morbid, mournful and lighthearted, seemingly senseless and soulfully sensible. All of his work has one thing in common, it's full of truth..real truth and honesty which is so hard to come by!
