About Me

Right now I'm doing lots of jazz gigs on double bass and enjoying myself enormously. I also do a fair bit of private teaching and have now written a life changing, essential, epoch defining (I might be over selling this) theory/chord book which you can download called "Any Key You Like". Reasonably priced, an ideal gift - visit my website for more info at: www.anykeyyoulike.com

STOP PRESS: I'm hosting a new regular Jazz Club in Arundel with house trio (featuring Terry Seabrook, me and Alex Eberhard) with guests. Next one is 22nd August with Nigel Price and Alex Garnett and in addition, as part of Arundel Festival I'm excited to announce the world premiere of The Arundel Suite composed by me featuring Bobby Wellins and Christian Brewer on 27th August. Visit www.myspace.com/arundeljazzclub for more details.

Tunes are as follows..."Stella By Starlight" and "Jordu" are taken from a duo session with Nils Solberg on guitar...Most of the other music playing is from a new CD featuring me, my original compositions and the considerable talents of Mark Edwards, Jim Mullen, Bobby Wellins and Alex Eberhard. JazzWise magazine gave it 4 stars calling it "breathtakingly lovely...a stunner". Go to www.alexeberhard.com to purchase. The standard Nature Boy was recorded at a gig. There are two tunes with me playing in a non-jazz setting with tracks from an album by Martin Messant, one of the most extraordinary singer songwriters I've heard on the U.K country/folk scene. There is also a track of me playing guitar with jazz great Sarah Pritchard. If you know me get in touch and say hello...if you don't know me still get in touch and say hello. For anyone who wants/needs/requires my official "proper" biography look below - .
