THE BIG FAT GIG 2008 IS HAPPENING SO READ ON...
It is now official, the Big Fat Gig 2008 will happen! The who, when and where are still a long way off being decided but what we can tell you is that plans are being suggested to hold it in the late Spring rather than the usual miserable mid January. The bands haven't been decided either but if you would like your band to play the Big Fat Gig 2008 please message us now! It doesn't matter how old or how experienced you are or what type of music you play, all bands will be considered, as one of the key factors to the BFG is to promote, encourage and help bands get on stage and play. No trendy cunts and no big egos! We offer a non dick-head policy. Even if you are an MC or just a solo artist just drop us a message. The sooner you get in touch, however, the more likely you will be on the bill...so don't leave it too late! The BFG is a prime oppurtunity to play in a great venue with great equipment, promote your band to West Cornwall, have a party and probably earn yourself abit of cash while your at it. Or if you aren't in a band, who cares!? There are too many bullshit bands around since myspace came about so fuck it and come join the party without the hassle of playing a gig! It's simple, the BFG never dissapoints.
Updates will follow this over the coming months and into the new year...

THE BIG FAT GIG
The Big Fat Gig was established in 2005 on Friday the 13th of May. It was an idea from the all seeing eye of Boden, a local heavy rock outfit, due to the lack of decent nights out in Penwith. The Bosuns had long said goodbye to real funk, grunge, rock and metal and decided to cater for the hip-hop and D'n'B scene kicking off in "hoods of Penzance" very rarely making acceptions for one-hit indie bands or pink transvestite punk bands. Club 2K on the other hand still held the odd metal night on Thursdays if we were lucky but got so raped up the ass by chavs that it had to move into shitty room 2 only to suffer a long and painful death and it finally passed away in September 2006...bless.
The main aim of inventing the Big Fat Gig was to garrentee YOU at least one good HEAVY METAL gig at the beginning of every year.
Please note: We are not gig promoters or an event organising company however, if you get on the BFG bill we will promote you. We are an offshoot of BODEN CORPS.
