Mariam Kriener was born to a Palestinian father and German mother in Berlin. At ten years of age, she performed live, accompanied by guitar which she played herself. Performed in gospel choirs and developed the incredible blend of Soul, gospel and R&B singing which is her trade mark today. When she was 16 years old, she formed a band appropriately called the “CON SOUL IDATIONâ€. It was during this period that she fine-tuned her voice to its present state of sensibility. Performances at the prestige jazz club “QUASIMODO†in Berlin established her reputation as an insider tip. Soon followed guest performances, with Queen Jahna’s “GOSPEL LOVE CHOIR†, the “MOTHER LUV BAND†from Hollywood, â€GOLDEN GOSPEL PEARLSâ€. She performs regularly with her band throughout Germany. Her debut-album "keynotes" was released in March 2008. Meanwile Mariam is writing new songs and will be seen on stage with her band and old musician-colleagues that she has worked with over the years.
