About Me

I'm John to most, Shaun to some, yet, I still happen to receive a million new nicknames wherever I go. I am looking for change or hope change will find me. I am not pretentious but I try to think vividly. I hate those who take themselves too seriously, but I admire those who can still acheive by taking their goals seriously. I have some great friends but I have also lost touch some of them. My intentions are usually good, but I am human, so I tend to screw things up for myself or others occasionally. I love metal because it actually makes me feel better, it is what helps me cope. I am not close to any family other than my sister who I love dearly. I also play guitar in a black metal band (we still need a drummer though!!). I have just moved out of Brooklyn, NY and back to Plymouth, MA.

My Interests

Music is very important to me. I love playing guitar and bass and have been for many years now. I love Mixed Martial Arts and hopefully I will get to start training again one day. I am also a new fan of football, I guess I am a late bloomer.

Anything that is atmospheric and usually pretty dark, although I do stray in odd directions in music sometimes. Metal is my favorite though, especially black metal.

Movies:

Dark comedies, really overly violent movies, and a million others.

Television:

Books:

Mostly non-fiction about whatever interests me at the time. I like Bret Easton Ellis, Hunter S. Thompson and I am starting to become a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien. Neil Strauss is cool too.

Broke my left hand
