About Me

Mo Skillz grew up on the west coast, midwest, (Los Angeles Inglewood and Denver Colorado. and lives in Baltimore. Real name is Mohamed. His music style is universal. From his multitalented abilities, he produced tracks for indie musicians, wrote lyrics, and designed cd artwork for entertainers. He was awarded prizes from poetry companies. His first cd Mo Better "Makin A New Classic, he used some freestyle on his track called Kissen's N Blessens at Next level studio's in Denver and mastered the track, which shows he writes and uses his own music, and another track called makin a good sound at Bamba's Studio.In 2005 he appeared in the Vibe Magazine. He performed in many venues from Carribean, African, and African American clubs and festivals. He gathered an indie R&B, and Hip Hop performers from around the U.S to join his independent label. Then they promoted their music from his marketing, on All Star Weekend in Denver. Which over 20,000 flyers was partly designed by Mo Betta or Mo Better Records, his second name at that time. He recieved many offers from, Ghost from No Limit Records, Redman from DefSquad.He recieved help from G-Clef CEO of Chambermusik, Wu-Tang affiliated company, and chambermusik personnel Pescal le Blanc for some distribution. In 2005 he sold over 10,000 copies of a track called Mary Goldstein, which he is featured on. Known names is Bamba (BMC), Kane, Juce, Paranoid, Rico, and Moetavation. Mo Skillz has been qouted by big names in the music Industry.In 2006 he connected with the Wu-Tang Clan, he has recieved opportunities to perform with the some Wu-Tang Clan members, and the group he knew in Denver Brass Nuckle Entertainment who also performed with the Wu-Tang Clan at the Filmore Auditorium of August in 2006. During August of 2006, Mo Betta did a live interview on Arstist Network, which had over 20,000 listeners worldwide. Mo Skillz was offered a spot to be on TV The Coulors televesion worldwide network for a show called streets on fire. In 2007 he was offered a spot on DNA's Def Jam's mixtape. Interviewed by The Muslim Journal spokeman Ira Davis, A world Wide African American muslim (Sunni) Newspaper started by Warith Deen Mohamed, Elijah Mohamed's son. Working on his cd Makin A East West Coast Statement with lyrics from Lil Wayne. Big tone. Lil Tay. Tex, Cheef, Jose Gonzalez. Few tracks produced by Emotional, and T-Pain. In 2007 he changed his focus more on design. In 2008 he designed artwork for barbershops, designed websites for local rappers and corporate companies. Designed a website for BiG Tone, Afrikans and Jerald Dirks a famous Muslim book author.
