Darkness Why is there fear in all eyes, It can't touch you but is that true, An emptiness full of life once lived, You know what you are, Yet some in darkness loss themselves, You hold a hand if it's there, If its not you fear nothing in your mind, You don't want to cry, You feel the cold of the darkness, The heat of your bodies responce overwhelms you, Denial is a securety to you, You hear a cry for help no one else does, You see the light shift, There's no one pressent to make a shadow, You know of what you have felt in the past, Your child like memories like the day before, The infant fears that grow in your stomach, Things you wish to forget, It stays with you and puts you in fear, You want to let go but it takes you over, Stop is what you say with no one to hear, You open your eyes to see your surroundings, You want light and know its there, Open wide, DARKNESS! When She’s Gone Not a call is made to ask how she is, No comforting words when she was afraid, You had all the time but none at all, She cared more then others said she should, Neglectful of others to be sure you where cared for, Took upon her self what was your responsibility, Wanted your love more then anything else, The times she cried tears for the things she wanted for you, When you fell she was there to pick you up, If she had nothing it was yours if you asked, If she could she would breathe for you, The prayers on her knees made for you, How long will you wait to show that you notice, How long before you give some back cuz it will be too late, When she’s gone!
