Reggie "YaBoi Black" Hall
is looking to be one of Americas most compelling cultural explosions of the latter 21st century. Over the course of the last 10yrs. Reggie used his realizations to bring Hip-Hop in his local area of Clarksville, TN to every facet of media and pop culture: in music with the well known K.U.T.T.H.R.O.A.T. ENT., The Element Group and of course his own record co. Sho' Cheese Ent. 21yr. old Reggie Hall is a native Tennessean who came of age in the Mid 80's, just as Hip-Hop was making an impact on the black and white communities. He immediately understood that Hip-Hop represented a creative explosion on par with earlier African art forms such as Jazz, Swing, Gospel, Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Rock'n Roll, Soul and Funk. While still a middle school student in TN, Reggie performed in his first rap show back in the early 90's and soon began promoting his own shows and pursuing dreams with other artists, and producing records.

John ‘J-ROC’ Russell was born on January 8, 1986, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Being the child of soldier he found himself moving around quite a few until he finally settled in Clarksville, TN. Shortly after in which he experienced his parents’ divorce. John got involved in music at the early age 10, following the footsteps of his older he joined the band. In middle school John learned to read music he played the alto, tenor, and sometimes the baritone saxophone. Being one of the more elite players in the band, his interest quickly spread from the saxophone to the entire band room. His band director began showing him how to make music with artificial devices such as synthesizers using keyboards. At the age of 11 he began rapping with childhood friend Black, they formed a group (DMB Dirty Mill Boyz) never to release an album. John went on to manage artist as early as in the 7th grade in the talent show. Shortly after moving to Maryland John quickly became an Intern under East Embassy Records were he learned how to use Pro Tools, Cubase, and Acid recording software. Shortly after meeting high school friend Anthony (Dat Nicca Pete) Bryant, he began to pick back up in full affect his passion to do something big in the industry. He soon created his entertainment company, JR Entertainment which is now currently playing a major role in Sho’ Cheese Entertainment. John has plans to do major things in the music industry, currently on the roster of K.U.T T.H.R.O.A.T Entertainment and in the group New Age Hustlas. It shows that he is on his way to make his mark. His will and determination for success is not like the average planning to exceed ones before him. He works hard not only as an artist but for surely behind the scenes.

Raised in los angeles, until the age of 16, I then relocated to the "Bay Area". I attended ohlone college for a brief time and had a great interest in becoming a professional basketball player but i was injured and could not pursue that goal. Another interest of mine was writing. I continued to write in my spare time after work. during a break, I had the opportunity to go on tour with a very good friend of mine, (Spice 1) and became very interested in the business.

Jo Jizzle
Born July 18, 1981 in Hinesville, GA on Ft. Stewart Army base to parents Rev. Jimmie M. garland Sr. and Pastor Jane W. Garland. Joseph (Jo Jizzle) Garland began to explore his vocal talent at the age of 4. Throughout his early years he spent the majority of his time singing in the church choir. At the age of 15 Jizzle began to experiment with musc production with his brother Jimmie Garland and another close friend, William (B.Majors) Majors. It was then that his talent for writing songs came to surface. following this discovery,Jizzle, then known as "Mellow", joined forces with another friend by the name of Jermaine Hall and formed the group Necessity. A new alliance was born when they introduced their talents to a local producer for Scum, which was a local rap group. Gary (Greedy Gutts) Thompson along with Provocative Music took and molded the groups initiative which created venues for performing at school functions and local talent shows. After taking on the stage name Jo Jizzle, Joseph had begun to realiz his niche in the music industry. After Necessity separated Gary Thompson and Joseph formed what is known as the Element Group Ent. since having written and performing his first solo song, between then and now he has written and recorded over 100 original songs, featured on at least 100 original songs that were recorded for other artists, and opened up shows for well known local artists such as LNH, A-West, and Nitty Gritty' regional artists such as Yo Gotti, and Allstar; as well as the platinum recording group known as the Nappy roots.

Gary (Shad Diesel) Titington
Born July 17, 1985, in Clarksville TN, Shad Diesel started raping at the tender age of 5. He along with his sister and cousin formed a group known as ATL, competing against musc artist such as Usher Raymond and other artist in the Tennessee area. Diesel admits to this being his earliest and fondest memory. He also stated "This is all I remeber so I figure this is what I should do" Diesel crafted his rappin skills to perfection with the influences of artist such and Bone Thugs N Harmony, Miles Davis, Method Man, Tupac, Notorious BIG, TQ, Snoop Dogg, etc. Throughout Jr. High and High School he entered and won many talent shows with songs he wrote himself. For a brief period Shad Diesel took a musical hiatus to ghost write for local rappers and singers. His focus shifted completely on music and the streets, leaving little time for school. At the young age of 17, Diesel was given an ultimatum, from the officials at Northeast High which led to an explosion In the spring of 2003 Gary received his GED. This was a time of revelation for him. Being out on the streets he saw a large majority of his friends incarcerated, or on drugs. He then decided that to get everything out of life that he wanted, thru his biggest passion music. Since then Diesel has peformed along the likes of Da Burnas, Mike Jones, Yo Gotti, and Marcus Houston. Diesel believes "Anything is possible as long as it's done with planning and a positive attitude."

Octavious (B-Will) Williams
Born on February 2, 1983 in Amory Mississipi. The first five years of his life was spent in Aberdeen Mississipi where he learned what being country was all about. At an early age B-Wills' mother and fater was divorced which forced him into a single parent househould. He moved to the Mid-West with his mother and younger brother to a small city called Davenport Iowa which would prove to be a 180 degree turn around from life in the Dirty South. Alll through grade school everything was straight all the way up to Jr. High where he found himself skipping school to go smoe blunts, freestyle with his homeboys and kick it with the females while his mom was at work trying to keep a roof over the heads of him and his younger brother Kevin "Sunny Red" Williams. At the age of 14 he had grown a serious intrest in writing music. Artist like Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tupac, Do or Die, Twista, 8ball and MJG, Pimp C, Snoop Dogg, Tela, Slick Rick, Spice1, Master P, Field Mob, and Crucial Conflict was major influences in his decision to pursue a career in the rap industry. B-Will spent alot of hours freestyling and writing songs instead of wasting time chasingfemales or on the block hustling. He knew that one day this would be the ticket to a serious lifestyle change fr all those who supported him along the way. He joined the military at the age of 19 in 2002 after his daughter was born. he spent 3 years in the U.S Army and is now a veteran from the war in Iraq. Since he first started writing his own music he has completed three albums. The first is his solo album "Peep into my Soul" which he finished in 2001. The second is Missellanyous, the self titled album which he co-wrote while seveing in Iraq. And last but not least is the Nitty Gritty's debut album "Going for Broke" which was finished in 2006 with the help of 3 brothers. He has done shows in Kuwait, Davenport IA, Clarksville Tn, Antioch Tn, Paris Tn, Huntsville Al, and also featured on many of the local artists albums in the mid-west. Life hasn't been easy for Octavious (B-Will) Williams but he's made everyday count.

Michael (Smurf Lee) Smith
Born November 30, 1982 in Dallas, Tx. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada as a child at the age of two. Raised in a broken home where his family lived paycheck to paycheck the struggle was an everyday life style for him andhis family. his mother was living in north Las Vegas in the streets ran by the Donna street crips as a child growing up. This was a life style she didn't want to raise her children in. His parents elected to move to Green Valley which was a predominately rich area of Henderson Nevada even though they truly couldn't afford it. Through all of Smurf Lees' hardships only three loves kept Michaels at ease, football, video games, and some Tupac. It was like no matter what was going wrong, once he trapped hisself in the room and turned up the stereo everything else would just fade away. In middle school his friend would write lyrics just clowning so he figured he would take a stab at it, it wasn't much but little did he know it would begin what would become his dream career as an MC. Once Eminem fist cam out, it was like a motivation to start writing more, still he seen it as a hobby but it was like pratice for what he would become in the future. In 2001 he graduated from Silveado High School and became the first in his family to rceive a HS diploma, something in which his parents hadn't done since conceiving him at a young age. Smurf Lee began working construction shortly after, freestyle a little bit to get throught eh long days and come home drained everyday. He seen himself following the same footsteps as his father, working a blue collar job was not the lifestyle he had wished for. In April Michael made a decision which would forever change his life. he decided to join the armay at the afe of19 and was officially in th Military May 2, 2002. he continued to write lyrics as a way to release his frustrations, but itwasnt' until he met Octavious(B-Will) Williams, who convinced him to get in the booth, then he started to realize his talents. In Fevruary of 2003 he was sent to iraq to fight in Operation iraqi Freedom, where he spent a year of his life. Serving as a cook for the armed forces, everyday while he wasbehing the line, he would find himself rapping bars in his head all day. and every night once he got to his cot he would write in his notebook until his hands would hurt, and even still he kept on writing. wth support of his new found brotheres, once he got back to the states he and B-Will released there first album Missellanyous in March of "04. While in construction of a 2nd album they decided to add two more members to the group and form Nitty Gritty and released there first album "Going for Broke" in 2006. Smuf has widely been recognized as the token white guy of Nitty Gritty, and is known for his ability to adapt to any track or environment. It's like every time he gets on the mic, the whole crowd is sruned. he's performed in Kuwait, Tennessee, louisiana, and Alabama. Through all of lifes hardships he's always found a positive and he hopes to bring this mentality into the industry for years to com.

He is the younger brother of Octavious "BigWill" Williams, so his story is pretty much identical. he was born in Amory, Mississippi raised in Aberdeen, Mississippi and Davenport, Iowa where he and his brother grew a love for the same type of music and started rapping almost at the sme time. Kevin "Sunny Red" Williams says "Ever since he heard that verse his brother wrote back in 1996 he has been writing songs". With love and a strong passion for music he decided that he would set off to see his dream of being a rap musician could possibley become reality. Inspired by the best of the best Tupac Shakur a lyrical genius and the late great Notorios B.I.G. he has taken his position as 1/4 of Nitty Gritty to see to it that he leaves a legacy for his children and their children to come. At the young age of 14 he and his homeboys were in the studio making tracks strictly for all the hoods in th city of Davenport, IA where dreams of making it out of the projects were slim to none. He moved to Clarksville, TN where the froup Nitty Gritty was formed. He did his first show here in Clarksville which he refers to as a "glance at stardom". He has big dreas of owning his own record company and possibly carrying the title as a living legend in the future. Sunny Red has set a goal to one day be respected a on of the greatest artist who ever lived and create music from the soul.

Broc grew up in the Bay area and then moved to Orlando, Fl where he met 2 business owners by the names of Reggie (YaBoi Black) Hall and John (J-Roc) Russell. After 2yrs in Orlando, Broc decided to move back to the Bay. In 2003 Broc came to realize that he enjoyed rapping. He recorded his first album “We Here†and blazed it on the streets for a while. Untill he connected with 1st Time Ent. out of the Bay Area as well and recorded a 2nd album (Rhythm and Rhymes) in 2004. Broc has put on shows in Los Angeles on Sunset, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Broc has been on stage with artists such as Hood Stars , Quest, Sugar T and the Whispers. Broc also as done a video shoot with a local Bay Area artist by the name of Kid. Broc says he loves the music and he’s been broke for too long now. So it’s time to Eat.

Anthony “DatNicca Pete†Bryant was born in Brooklyn, NY. At the age 14 he moved to MD. Music has always been a passion of his. When Anthony turned 8yrs old he started rapping. He always wanted to be looked at as the most versatile rapper in his area. Hands down. Being African American/Puerto Rican and bilingual, he feels like he can do this in both languages and he likes incorporating both in the same song and just letting it flow to the point to where someone who doesn’t even understand Spanish will still rock to it just because of his swagger. Anthony dabbles in the producer’s seat a little bit as well. It’s jus not known to a lot of people, just yet. Anthony says, not only is music a love of his, but this opportunity is coming at a critical point in his life. He is currently on probation for a charge he caught. He says he’s lucky he only did 8 months of his time. Anthony looks at this music thing as his second chance at life, because he’s not the type of guy to be in and out of jail. He did what he had to do to eat, things didn’t work out so he had to handle what came his way. Personally, he looks at his self as a good guy. He doesn’t look for trouble or things like that, but when something comes his way it gets dealt with one way or another. Basically to make a long story short, Anthony is all about Hip-Hop.
